Here are two masks I made a while ago.
The Green Man mask was one of the first two masks I have EVER made (1999) and the Fall Green Man mask (2000) came shortly afterward.
I have since sold both of the Green Man masks (yes, I made two), I've given the Fall mask to my mother as a gift.
The Fall mask is made up of velvety textured leaves which I absolutely COVET and incidentally, cannot find again anywhere!
i love them both! plus green is my favourite colour.

Make friends with someone at a zoo lol. Actually a lot of zoos (especilly smaller ones) sell feathers in thier gift shops, you can often find some pretty interesting ones there
Unfortunately, I don't go out to my local zoo all that often. It's not in the best condition and I find it depressing. But that's definitely a good idea.
-I've actually decided to start earlier this year and start contacting people online who have peacock farms..ask if I could come out and collect the fallen feathers or try to buy some in bulk.
I'm really looking for white and normal, adult male tail feathers from a peacock, as well as the green/black iridescent tail feathers from a rooster. -Hard to find in stores these days.

This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and =Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

I adore using feathers on my masks, just can't always find the kind of feathers I'm looking for, unfortunately.
